The trip and the site After six months of lockdown in Greece, it was time for a fieldwork trip. So, on the second day of the ease of travel restrictions we were on the road to the Argolid.

New Project Member Danai Theodoraki

Previous work Danai studied archaeology at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki where she completed her MA degree in 2018. Her thesis, supervised by Prof. Konstantinos Kotsakis, focused on the marine resources of the Neolithic settlements in Northern Greece.

Call for applications for PhD position

Starting in February 2021 the Seafront project will host a 3-year PhD student at the Römisch-Germanisches Zentralmuseum (RGZM) Leibniz-Forschungsinstitut für Archäologie in collaboration with the Johannes Gutenberg Universität zu Mainz. Find the official call in German here and in English below.
